पड़ोसी जिले मुंगेली में गुरुवार को एक युवक ने टंगिया से वार कर अपनी मां और छोटी बहन को बुरी तरह घायल कर दिया। मां ने घटनास्थल पर ही और बेटी ने सिम्स चिकित्सालय बिलासपुर में दम तोड़ दिया। आरोपी को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। मोहल्ले वालों  के अनुसार युवक अपनी मां से नशा करने के लिए पैसों की मांग कर रहा था।

मुंगेली के एडिशनल एसपी कमलेश्वर चंदेल ने बताया कि रामगोपाल वार्ड के पुल पारा निवासी धनीराम यादव के बड़े बेटे अनिल यादव उर्फ सोनू (25) ने सुबह  करीब साढ़े दस बजे अपनी मां सुनीता यादव (45) और बहन मधु (19) पर टंगिया से ताबड़तोड़ हमला कर दिया।  गले पर प्रहार करने से सुनीता की घटनास्थल पर ही मौत हो गई वहीं बीच – बचाव के लिए पहुंची मधु को भी सांघातिक चोट पहुंची। मधु को जिला चिकित्सालय में भर्ती किया गया जहां से उसे सिम्स, बिलासपुर के लिए रेफर किया गया था, जहां शाम को उसकी भी मौत हो गई।

ए एस पी चंदेल ने बताया कि यादव परिवार रोजी – मजदूरी करके अपना जीवनयापन करता है। आरोपी अनिल इस परिवार का बड़ा पुत्र था और कोई कामकाज नहीं करता था जिसके कारण अक्सर घर में वाद – विवाद की स्थिति बनी रहती थी। आज सुबह इसे लेकर मां द्वारा समझाइश देने पर आरोपी अनिल तैश में आ गया और उसने टंगिया से ताबड़तोड़ हमला कर अपनी मां की हत्या कर दी। मृतका पर आरोपी ने इतने अधिक प्रहार किये थे कि उसका सिर धड़ से अलग हो गया।

आसपास के लोगों के अनुसार अनिल नशे का आदी था। आज उसने नशा करने के लिए अपनी मां से पैसों की मांग की। मां ने उसे पैसे देने से साफ मना कर दिया और कुछ कामकाज कर खुद पैसे कमाने की समझाइश दी थी। इसी घटनाक्रम में बीच – बचाव के लिए पहुंची आरोपी की बहन मधु भी उसके गुस्से का शिकार हो गई। आरोपी ने उसे भी बुरी तरह घायल कर दिया।

ए एस पी चंदेल ने यह भी बताया कि आरोपी अनिल हत्या को अंजाम देने के बाद लगभग 20 मिनट तक घर के बाहर टंगिया को लहरा कर घूमता रहा और बड़ी मुश्किल से पुलिस के काबू में आया। पुलिस ने उसे धारा 302 के तहत गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।
